THE PERFECT CHIA PUDDING

Best use: Snack
Preparation time: 5 minutes

Chia puddings are a great "tie me over" and so simple to make. Like our bircher muesli, I would recommend filling 5-6 mason jars for snacks throughout the week.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Coconut Milk
  • ½ Cup Wheyhouse Organic Chia Seeds
  • ½ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Fresh or frozen seasonal fruits

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour ingredients into a glass jar or container (or large bowl if making multiple servings) and set in fridge to soak for 4 hours. Check consistency after first hour and thicken by adding more seeds or dilute by adding more coconut milk. Remember chia puddings are supposed to be a bit runnier than our bircher.
  2. Here’s the kicker. There are absolutely dozens of ways to flavour it! Add any fresh or frozen fruit to taste. A personal favourite is canned mango with our vanilla protein or frozen raspberries with our chocolate protein / raw cacao powder.

Tips: Place fruits and nuts in the blender for an extra smooth consistency.

Whatever your flavour is, get creative with it!
